Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small skillet, melt butter and cook diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for 5 minutes until apples are soft.

Unroll puff pastry and cut into small squares or circles. Place a spoonful of apple filling in the center of half the pastry shapes.

Cover with remaining pastry shapes, crimp edges with a fork to seal, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden. Drizzle with glaze before serving.
